But no, totally appreciate where you're coming from, my friend.

And I'm in it for the long haul too. I'm just salty because I sold off other well performing assets to go all in on SYA, then leveraged off my portfolio value to secure a line of credit with my bank to further invest, which couldn't have been more ill timed on my part. As at yesterday we're down 39.4% since (haven't done my EOD yet).

So although *** I wholeheartedly still stand by my decision to go all in on SYA due to its potential being beyond reproach*** I'm just gonna be temporarily salty AF because if anything were to happen and I needed to settle with my bank, given the size of the LOC, I have technically lost everything, my entire life savings and what had been an incredibly profitable stock portfolio up to that point (MIN, PLS etc). All (as it stands today) gone.

(I mean I have other assets but my accountant gave me the same advice yours did, so I don't technically own much of anything)

This kids is why they tell you to diversify and not put all your eggs in one basket. I wholeheartedly accept that I got excited and went overboard. I'm still here though. And as far as I'm concerned the only mistake I made was banking on there being no noteworthy SP increase for 6-9 months... what I didn't entertain as a possibility was that we'd have a 40% loss in value.
