Has anyone noticed that people commenting here about how AGL Ave a great future with renewable energy don't have any AGL shares themselves? If they really thought AGL had a great future with renewable energy they would be buying AGL shares. In answer to the question on why the slump in share price it's because the green energy future doesn't look good so a lot of people who own AGL that deal with reality and know it's greenie BS that renewables can provide Lowe cost and more reliable power than coal fired power stations. We only need to look at how Germany is restarting its mothballed coal fired power stations to know that Australia needs to keep its coal fired power stations going until an alternative type of technology is in place. The only low carbon emission practical alternative is nuclear power. AGL would do better to invest in nuclear power than renewable power which is a proven failure.
