It appears from 0001 hours on Thursday 24 November 2022, Pacific National coal train drivers have gone on an indefinite strike.
This means no coal (or other bulk) trains.
Not good.
This is a matter of national importance given the huge export earnings thermal coal generates from the NSW Hunter Valley.
While Aurizon drivers may not have gone on strike, I can't see any Hunter Valley coal trains operating.
Will provide further information if it comes to hand. Nothing yet on PN website.
