    "due to human activity"

Maybe it's not so much just human activity, it's the number of humans. A doubling of the world's population in the past 30 or so years doesn't seem to come into any modelling that climatologists have done when addressing "climate change". We were told back in the l1980's that there was to be no more leaded petrol, no more back-yard incinerators, recycling paper and cardboard packaging was introduced and should have helped with the chopping down of forests etc.
The problem, as I say, has been the population increase. And the economists can't get their modelling OK without this increase of demand and therefore the numbers of us on this finite planet.
