imp expect accounts announcement

I phoned head office and was told the following situation.

The IMP company accounts have been completed from the USA end.

Now the financial records are with the "Australian Auditors and management are awaiting news from the Aust Auditors with clarification from them as to when their audit of the current financial accounts will be completed, and ready to give to the ASX for publication."

I was advised that an announcement this afternoon can be expected from management clarifying why there has been a delay ...ie; awaiting the Australian Auditor to complete their audit, before handing to the ASX.

Hope this helps ...albeit, even though it doesn't do much to alleviate our test of patience.
