Haha, if your "prospecting mates" are "geologists" then you might want to ask them why they're scratching around in the dirt for a handful of ounces rather than working in the industry...
Once you learn that there's a difference between prospecting and mining exploration then your opinion (and those of your mates) might be a bit more valid.
