Bizarre and rather out-of-character.
I agree that he has been remunerated at below benchmark rates to date, especially given the amount of shareholder value creation he has driven.
But his remuneration is now a de facto 1% Revenue royalty.
Not sure I've seen that sort of remuneration structure in a publicly-listed company before; and am not sure how it is necessarily aligned with the interests of his fellow shareholders.
