I dont think MP is talking it down, personally I dont care if he/she is not a geo many punters like Terry Streeter for example may not be geos but know the lay of the land better than most geos.

I got into OMH early on many thought the grades at Bootu were to poor for it to be a decent miner even Groit a subsidiary of BHP ended up not having faith in it and pulled out but they eventually proved they could do it.

Early Consolidated bought out Valiant for a song lots of anomalies in this industry apart from the mineral ones!
