Aaaaactually ... I've always thought RAC was a prime candidate for a share split or split:ipo.

We know RAC/DrT/PL? tend to be a little radical and innovative in their business strategy thinking.

Rather than bog down the other two "pillars" wouldn't RAC be better to split off the, say, the Cardio business into an ipo where existing RAC shareholders receive ipo shares at whatever the cash equivalent ratio is, the participating corporate similarly to their cash equivalent and the cash required via the ipo - or similar? to fund the trials?

Imagine the demand from retail to buy into that ipo. (The brokers would be lining up to underwrite it! Probably be US linked though.)

Personally I doubt we'll have another RAC CR. Just too much opportunity to take a separate pillar business further, faster and better funded, separately. And sooooo exciting - particularly if it was Cardio.

If something like this happened, imagine the hype it also creates for the other two pillars. Win:Win. And the corporate Win:Win:Win.

Or similar. The corporate may want to fund the lot for a negotiated - greater share ... depends on the chances of success I expect.

Something like that has far more appeal to me that another boring CR.
