Great news that they successfully cored the first interval this morning and got the expected oil shows, but I am still on the edge of my seat.
The timeline published by JPR on 15th March is slipping badly. Their projected four days' to the first core run has taken eleven days, putting us us a week behind schedule already.
The capability of this local drilling contractor remains a serious concern. I hope that they are just proceeding slowly-but-surely, and not struggling painfully from one stuff-up to the next, as before.
At this point I think that the drilling contractor is the major risk to success with this well, and I will be very relieved when they get to total depth and the professionals take over to flow test it.
