Perhaps someone could remind JH to start a roadshow in chasing up another partner.

I remember a while back reminding him about PetroSA's GTL pilot plant in Sth Africa, which was built by Statoil.

JH is great with the fundamentals (HVS, CSG, HE, GTL, UCG), what CTP really need is a Biz Dev Mgr to actively carry on roadshows & mkt their acreage with the high rollers.

Last year we had a delegation frm Japan visiting The Territory. Think INPEX & MIMI (mitsui-mitsubishi JV) were wining-dining with the Premier, one would have got the ball rolling then & there, rather then sign up PXA & ROG for funding. All we saw was a link in Japanese on CTP's website.

Even better, now that they have done the CR, with $50mil in the bank they aren't really broke or dependent on others to fund the drilling. However, longterm they need the expertise of a proven player.

Each day delayed is terrible. Firstly the Territory's PWC has found an alternate gas supplier (ENI's Blacktip field) instead of Santos's Palm Valley where production has delined. Refer Magellan's MSA4 gas agreement with PWC & also EWC's recent HY update frm their website. EWC has a LNG plant at Alice + 9 kns of pipeline to the AS hub, & truck the LNG to a facility at Ulluru. Seriously its about finding a market & a buyer.

The recent additions to CTP's team are good frm an operations perspective, but seriously they need a deal-maker on board. Geo's & Engineers will talk abt rocks & technical cock-ups 24x7, doesn't gel with the longterm Commercial picture.

So frankly, if BG (or PXA-ROG) were still delaying matters anymore, JH needs to crack the whip & stand up. I can't believe apart frm HEN, who will buy the Helium, we r still are squabbling with the minority parties onboard for the CSG funding.

It's painful sitting on a huge acreage, negotiating with the locals, knowing how much diversity of play exists & yet not reflected in their share price. This will hurt the SP more day in/day out, as it creates an element of uncertainity amongst the believers, as in 'Can CTP really Deliver & by when?".

I'd b stressing JH to chase up Statoil esp. when they have a serious commitment to Oil sands in Canada, Shale Gas in the USA, GTL in Sth Africa and conventional O&G, LNG play. Perhaps other SH's could do the same. Presentations in a conference in London might b well spent by taking a short trip to Statoil's Norway HQ, JH.

They need to bring on a no-nonsense go-getter partner onboard. Not a huge ask, is it, simple commercial acumen required.
