Big difference between the JW seat of his pants approach and the carefully planned CC approach over at IGR where they have just purchased PUT options to cover some of their first gold produced later this year. I guess there are pros and cons to both approaches and that is why I have done some hedging of my own with a position in both... plus SLR who just get on with production and exploration.
