But unfortunately in my experience very few CEO's drawn from the upper/ middle management of major resources companies to run an emerging (even) producer tend to think by just letting the project development sell itself to existing and prospective shareholders and the news etc gravitates toward quarterlies. Especially, when high profile search companies are involved in the selection process there is a real focus on headline name companies such as BHP/ Shell/ Rio etc. Rather than has the incoming executive come from a listed entity and had share price impacting/ and or/ P&L responsibility for the corporation itself and promoted to and accepted by the Broking industry ...

However, what must be understood is that always a Listed company is involved in an ongoing competition for investment dollars and cannot rely on the gradual diffusion of (good) corporate activity and initiatives to not only maintain its share pricing but increase that entities share pricing - constant and progressive news/ up-dates is an essential practice.

Even so, I appreciate the fact that we are in turbulent times in the market players (especially, large international) and opportunists in the marketplace that can using market power to achieve their agenda(s).

Finally, as a minimum - I would expect that where CXO is subject to constant shorting attacks - corporately the CFO together with Company Secretary must constantly check the integrity of the Corporate Share Register to confirm that all shorting is "covered shorting" as per ASX/ ASX Listing Rules and ASIC Corporations Law: they may get a real surprise. Which may even require periodically a trading halt for say 4+ trading days ...
