If they are running behind schedule at all, best to announce it.
Majority of us that have invested in companies that are yet to start producing know that invariably there are delays anyway.
Personally I'm not too concerned if there is a delay. The goods are still there, and they will still get sold and we will still be making bank when it's up and running.
DSO is bringing in some coin in the interim.
