HD the Libs have been in "arrangements" with Newscorp for decades.... I would like to think you're right but the evidence shows that Newscorp have exercised considerable influence over the targeted market audience and enabled a skewing to the votes in favour of Libs.
Howard worked this very skilfully..... this last series of interchangeable Lib Leaders has resulted in Newscorp no longer backing conservative politics, except in Vic... and this showed a poor result for the Libs this time.
the NSW election will be easier for the Libs to win as they are incumbent and seen atm as plausible. my guess is Newscorp will back Perrottet, but theres little dirt on Lab Leader Minns.....
