A big quesiton is what Korean Export Finance & NAIF will do. Also Ol mate who mentioned sunrise got me looking and they got $400M. I wonder if we might get a bit more on the DFS potentially. NAIF could be as much as $600M looking at what Genex got.
So I can see GovBux covering at least half, if not $1.25ish.
Finding another $750M from corporate entities isnt so scary.
1 year pre-payment from LG & Posco for 10Mt = ~$250M.
Probably get us close already as deflation kicks in.
The three reasons I invested are still all in play:
1) Battery Metals - Long nickel (Those who say $25k/t is too high is fair enough, I reckon we have a long term structural deficit of high quality nickel as we electrify)
2) ESG (Helps get investors, give product an edge & ultimately leads to GovBux)
3) GovBux (All levels of gov want this sort of project to get up and have their ugly mugs on papers talking about it. NAIF is a big one)
The holy trinity!
