dc76, I certainly do believe that people are a lot more intelligent than some here have given them credit with description such as "stupid", "below average intelligence", etc. They will vote again for this government in the coming election for the simple reason that they know what this government has done is the right thing to do for the nation.

This is where you are blinded by your own political bias. The people do know what the are doing and they will vote accordingly.

This government has made a very hard decision in spending large sums of money to deal with the effects of the GFC. Despite some here and the Liberals out there have been saying, in my view, it was a very hard decision for the government to make and it had made a courageous decision. The future generation will appreciate its efforts. The current generation will, in the coming election, thank it for taking the right course of actions.
No government is perfect. Anyone looking for perfection is not living in the real world.
