    China company bought into peak about 12 months ago.

    they didn't need to if the government was pliable to Chinese interests not to stall this project

    look at it from Tanzania perspective, it's a critical mineral deposit, refining in country would give Tanzania some clout as to China's rare earth supply dominance.So to infer China has stopped this seems contradictory to Tanzania.

    Not just to China but also to western countries, the government of Tanzania isn't exactly a beacon of democracy. The had been reported supresions in the past of opposition to the established political party's.

    once the company shows if it's viable to process and refine in the country or it's not that will be the telling of Tanzania motives
