On pages 387, 388 and 399 AUSTRAC alleges that the then CFO, Chad Barton, signed off on agreements with SunCity and another customer subject to the serious allegations of money laundering.
Must make for an interesting conversation with clients such as AUSTRAC, ASIC and the AFP now that he's wearing the Nuix CFO hat.
It's hard to imagine this situation ever being allowed to emerge in the US... there's a long history of law enforcement throwing the full force of the law at executives implicated in casino related crimes.
