An absolutely AMAZING number of gap trades presented themselves this morning...


It appears as though the initial market reaction on open was to sell the USDollar.

I took the following trades

GBPJPY Short
GBPUSD Short
EURUSD Short
AUDUSD short
USDJPY long
USDCHF long

At time of posting these were the relevant charts: (apologies for "different" charts had to use another platform as difficulties with IGMarkets "weekend data display" was drivng me nuts... )
These trades were taken on IG

 I found a nice simple way to note gap trades without charts as IG kindly resets prices on these pairs to register zero change prior to Monday morning market open and so I was able to "see the gaps" purely by price change on open.

Current status of trades:

AUDUSD, GBPJPY both closed at gap fill.

USDCHF, EURUSD GBPUSD and USDJPY still open.

All trades currently in profit... (USDCHF "came good" whilst posting this).
