I've put in some numbers in his model based on a 10% reduction in capex. A number of assumptions were made:

Based on a reduction of 10% capex we are short of 746 mil required for stage 1.
Assuming we managed to secure 250 mil loans from export credit agencies/banks we are still short of 496 mil.
Assuming 496 mil is raised at $0.11 (20% at current $0.135 SP), 4.5b of shares will be issued bringing us to a total of 6.3b shares on issue.
Assuming market cap post CR is around 1b, sp could be expected to be hovering around $0.16.

Thoughts people? I want QPM to succeed as well but financing seems to be a big hurdle at this stage.

The assumption here is they have no news flow to drive the SP above todays price. They have known about the Capex for some time and i believe the reason for the initial DFS delay.

They would have known this was going to be a hard number to release and planned around it.

I think we have enough support around this project to avoid raising $500m at $0.11 but glad we are now at a point its getting built at least...
