This isn't metallurgy. Its screening out a very small size fraction which contains the highest grade in the deposit. it doesn't shed any light on whether you can actually leach/extract the REEs from these deposits. In this case its -20 micron which is very fine and would be extremely difficult to commercially screen a clay to that size because its energy intensive and slow.
