I think the myth that the Liberal National Party are somehow magically good for the economy is no longer universally subscribed to. The Australian populations seems to be looking at the things they did.
Liberals being the hard budget keepers is not an election winner. I understand the swinging voters are all that are in play, and they can be very fickle, but they economics of recession don't seem to be that straightforward.
