..I think they're just being opportunistic. You must remember that if stock prices are cheap, the ones owning them are more reluctant to put them for sale in the open market. Buyers can only buy (at whatever price sellers prepared to sell) if sellers are prepared to sell a controlling stake.

Plenty of us long termers. I am not alone. If you can buy something for x price which you see going to 10x over a few years over normal development time frames on already known information you buy and hold. If the commodity in question triples over that holding period in price then it is party time. It is not rocket science.
