I hardly think many living in regional locations with a $400-500k home with off street parking and solar panels are yelling from ivory towers and regard themselves as part of the incredibly privileged who can afford an EV.
Many in regional locations regard folk in the cities who own a small terraced house in Paddington that is worth $3 Million as privileged. They can sell up on retirement, downsize and relocate to a regional location and have a rather privileged retirement.
All in the eyes of the beholder isn’t it.
