And my personal update  is that I have now given both my tubes away … The first was for my son who is now in   Thailand for a few weeks and the second this morning went to a dear elderly friend whose birthday is imminent and whose dingo has developed a rectal infection ….

- friend said the active ingredient is likely just bleach and when she had been a nurse they had treated wounds which kept sloughing by covering all the healthy part with vaseline and dropping hydrogen peroxide into the centre of the bit that wouldn’t heal …​

If it is just bleach it’s a mighty expensive form of it.​

I rang around the local Terry Whites to make sure I could replace it before I gave her the whole tube, and the first two said they didn’t have it and couldn’t get it … but that the special price was due to last till December 24.
…. At the third she said they didn’t have it but the wholesaler did have it in stock and she could get it by tomorrow morning! (I looked up the wholesaler! http://www.symbion.com.au/our-businesses/community-pharmacy/terrywhitechemmart/)
