What are the conditions for share holder approval? At Nearmap they had to get 75% of shares but also 50% of shareholders. They just got the 75, but easily got the 50. 19,000 out of 23,000 shareholders didn't vote. We could have easily held onto it if holders bothered to vote.

It shows the short term mentality of holders, or at least those that voted. I can't imagine often being excited by a takeover, it strips us of long term opportunity, which is why I invest. I'm getting robbed left, right and centre with all of these takeovers, but only because directors are supporting them. Jerks!
