You guys need to stop making this discussion political. The Lib/Nats had 12 years to promote and/or invest in ARU, and did everything in their power to inhibit renewable energy industries (where large amounts of REMs are consumed). How many "chops" did the Libs give to ARU over 12 years? Labor has not been in the job very long, but so far they have at least been making the right moves re promoting a home-grown supply of REs, and they have consistently supported the very industries that will no doubt use large amounts of ARU products. I therefore see no reason to turn this thread into a political spray about Labor, or any political party for that matter.
