These huge numbers can be rather exhilarating.
A back of envelope number crunching shows that 200Tcf GIP resource potential arbitrarily and conservatively discounted to 10% JORC-compliant reserves at $5.00 per kcf and at 20% profit margin over Y years results in 200,000,000,000,000 x 10% x $5 x 20% /1,000 /1,100,000,000 = $18ps over Y years. Or have I got my maths wrong?
But the ongoing disappointment with CTP's premature play on huge numbers leads me to restrain my impulse to buy more BPT.
Even so, at 75c ps, its price and blue sky promise are comparable to the likes of KZL, BMN, LYC, ARU and NMS.
