If you look at WBC,NAB,ANZ they all are around the price they were 20 years ago ,they pay good dividends but there has been no growth in the SP,the business model is broken they have sold off parts of their businesses so the business is getting smaller and the mortgage brokers are cutting their grass,they have all engaged in buy backs to increase EPS.

Clough Engineering collapse does not augur well, ferocious outcome for banks when the exposures are released IMHO.
