Why should we rely on sodium when it is already clear that we are thinking about giving lithium-ion batteries a second life as stationary batteries before recycling them? Especially when these batteries can be just as cheap in their second life cycle as those sodium batteries, only much less of them are needed? So how long will the niche for sodium last?PS: Who buys a car with which he or she can drive in the city, but when he or she wants to visit the parents or aunt then has to change to train and rental car?Range is now the factor that determines everything in the betterie sector and that in conjunction with charging speed. When I take a trip, no one wants to have to spend the night every 200km until the battery is charged again.
