In the GFC I bought the big and MQG but the banking business has changed the brokers are cutting their grass and their businesses are getting smaller as they have sold out of non core businesses ,they have bought back shares to increase EPS but their businesses are cyclical but not growing and their are plenty of other better growing businesses to invest in,the banks have treated their customers poorly and their share holders poorly,you compare the banks CBA has done well but MQG has really kicked ass with growth and the other 3 are still languishing even local funds are scaled down their holdings of WBC,NAB and ANZ banks. .
