Even though Asm WAS $10 investors could have sold out and returned under $2.... Thats investing
Fact is ALK span it out and those that held shares at the time did very very well. I was buying ALK under 18c years ago when ASM was included in the SP but left because it was taking too long to realise the asset so I missed the boat AGAIN !! IMO those that are running ALK have proven themselves to make a return for investors and run a profitable operation with a diverse portfolio and holding a truck load of cash.
