A comparison of old and new.

Old

Red outlines are gravity highs from company surveys - subjective. Subtle dashed white lines from regional government broad gravity survey.

New

The broad outlines are visible in the earlier survey and are now fleshed out to where geophysicists can decipher much finer detail.

As an idea of what could come out.




Some annotations.

white are possibly trend lines of stratigraphy. Folding in the area of Crean-Caird-Hurley. Linear in the Shackleton Macklin area.
orange some other linear features that may be faults. Orange question marks where the interpreted faults could conflict with the observed magnetics.
L - magnetic lows which are often paired with highs though not always.
Luni is a gravity high but a poor magnetic feature. Why are ENR focusing on the highs? IMO the zones to the immediate east of Luni just on ENR ground do resemble the magnetics more WITHOUT obvious gravity.

Gravity survey planned. Could be almost more important than magnetics.
Radiometrics not reported though could be difficult to sort out intrusive related radiometrics from REE related. Overlap is quite likely.

The area is complex and way beyond my pay grade. ENR have folks who will try to sort out trends and come up with targets for next year. Good to have this level of detail to aid in the process.
