With Beach out of the race, so is the opportunity for the double D's to get the Spanish assets for themselves on the cheap.
They must be hating this.
Strike offering 1 for 1 could be the next move. Then Hancock may have to produce a knock out bid of over 36C to put this to bed.
Either way, no Spanish bargain for DD's which is very satisfying.
