By the way, YAL's debt prepayment stands in stark contrast to the actions of idiot politicians in the Federal, State and Territory governments, almost all of whom are adding to huge net debt in real terms.
Victoria has the wooden spoon as worst performer, but most of the others (except perhaps WA) are poor as well. Mind you, WA's health sector is as bad as Victoria's and Queensland's, so the WA government isn't spending some of its surplus where it's required.
We can't assume 'Mr Market' is rational but if he decides to be for a moment, YAL's SP should rise at least a few cents on Monday 12 December.
