Yep, they were plugging back the existing 8 and 1/2 inch wellbore section and conducting the sidetrack from the 9 and 5/8 inch casing shoe (which was at 2,020mMD) - According to the sidetrack announcement from the 24th November. So what NI have said is wrong. Fridays announcement wasn't 100% clear on where they were at, but I read it as they hadn't really started the sidetrack yet due to all the equipment issues.
