Thanks for the wish for success Scotsman and yes I wish I had bought some Lihir Gold as well as Republic Gold - I have closely looked at Lihir and then did not buy any - and to see it jump 30% today is what could have been sensational

However Republic Gold are a speculative stock and time will tell if my investment is right or wrong. I have said so time and time again there is risk involved but as a potential "Gold Play" the rewards may be very high and with some Tungsten and Copper as backup I like what I see.

I am happy for you to stay to your blue chips and other stocks - and happy for you not to buy any Republic Gold as well as I am still accumulating my holding

And as it is a free forum and open to the public you can post here as well - and I am sure people here will take your warnings on board as a non holder. And that is OK as I said it lets people like me build a bigger stake

It is an interesting old thread the RAU thread as we have a couple of people who continually post the doom and gloom forecasts on this RAU thread who do not own any shares and have this deep interest in this small speculative stock to ward other potential investors. One could even suggest that some may work together with the doom and gloom posts but that may be suggesting something I could not prove really
