I did not expect to be the first to comment on this announcement, especially in the tone of criticism which is to come.

After two days, and around 170 views, nothing apart from 3 likes. Why could that be?

After all, the change in settlement agreement to HNG probably had to come because the AN1 share price has not reached 4c yet, BUT BUT there has been the USPA skincare business acquisition from BWX revealed with some fanfare. This is surely a positive noteworthy announcement, The CEO and the AN1 IBC surely deserve some thanks at the very least. So why nothing?

Could it be the use of the word "immaterial" to describe the cash amount to be paid for the acquisition? What does "immaterial" mean to the CEO and to the AN1 IBC? What does "immaterial" mean to anyone, especially AN1 shareholders who deserve respectful clarity regarding Company spending.

To the Oxford Dictionary "immaterial" means..... unimportant, irrelevant.... To me, here in this announcement, it means..... What is going on?.... Why the secrecy? Let us not go back to the dark days where CDY/AN1 shareholders were treated as cash cows and mushrooms with unclear Company announcements. We have turned that corner.

To the CEO and to the AN1 IBC I say....TELL US THE PRICE!! You must know what the price to be paid is because you go on to say it will be paid from AN1 cash on hand. Then, having revealed the price, you can then reveal the value, the extra value, to AN1, and deservedly receive the appropriate credit and thanks from shareholders (and POTENTIAL shareholders!!!). Do not waste your Company announcements.

It is obvious that any future success of AN1 will depend on a continuation of its "strategy of growth via synergistic M&A". I applaud that strategy and please, please, continue with it.

However, in my opinion, it will also depend on total management transparency, which will generate shareholder and consumer confidence and respect.
