Would be excellent if there was an announcement soon. Surely this is the bottom for DOM. It seems to have stayed above $2.55.
The other, more negative side of me sees the US dollar rising and the US and AUS stock markets being at record highs. They both seem to have room for a temporary correction causing further "strength" in the US dollar...
Even though gold shares seem very cheap to me - DOM especially - relative to the gold price - a market correction could see these shares move even lower with the rest of the market.
I do not want this to happen but it is entirely possible.
