Yes, I saw that. To be quite honest, the response is likely spin. Not too different from the "only a small number of customers affected " type responses that Apple puts out.
This is all par for the course with mass manufacturing... Not that it's acceptable.
Any permanent fixes would require a revision to the design which would entail additional costs. I doubt they'd be entertaining that.Agreed
