Government(s) were warned well over 7 years ago about "East Coast Gas" supply problems as it was characterised then. They did nothing and now we find ourselves in this situation. The war in Ukraine is but one factor affecting prices and was an outlier to the thinking back then
It's all about the "what, cause, effect"
