As I said here: 65268614, I am compiling all the bullish information to make a bullish thread.

If anyone else has any other information? I can add it to the list:

    1) estimated value of 100MMBO (later we found out it was actually 108MMBO as the certifier claims): https://hotcopper.com.au/data/attachments/4910/4910485-b385d848d14af225fbffac126c987cd0.jpg
    source: 61276815
estimated value with 108MMBO as inferred from the certifiers:

Figure 1: Adapted from VOGC, 08/05/22, 20:30, Post #:61276815this spread sheet screen shot displays an estimated "unrisked prospective resource" for the Amistad, Alameda, and Marti prospects attributed to Melbana (30%) as assessed by Independent expert McDaniel & Associates. (08/07/2022, ASX:MAY, Alameda-1: Independent Resources Assessment (Alameda Resevoir) and ASX:MAY [14/3/22 and 08/07/22]).Using the method of insitu value AUD$/bo for only the Alameda-1 prospects encountered, we come to~$0.69/share.

    2) lots of news flow pre-Alameda-2 spudding as indicated by history: 65271637

    3) A case for whether or not CGT discount is good for me: 65272407

    4) capital raise not required and not predicted by the director, at least until oil flows: https://hotcopper.com.au/data/attachments/4910/4910497-254040a7a45c1a6cabdf6dc19036489f.jpg

    5) The possibility of resource upgrade as described here: 65284375

    7) "All material permits to commence program secured, regulatory and partner approvals received and funding committed for 2023 the drilling of two appraisal wells in Block 9, Cuba" source: 09/12/2022, ASX:MAY, Countdown to appraisal of oil found in Block 9 https://cdn-api.markitdigital.com/apiman-gateway/ASX/asx-research/1.0/file/2924-02610511-3A609231?access_token=83ff96335c2d45a094df02a206a39ff4

    8) "Permitting for the commencement of drilling of the first appraisal well is advanced, with all material permits now having been received." source: 09/12/2022, ASX:MAY, Countdown to appraisal of oil found in Block 9 https://cdn-api.markitdigital.com/apiman-gateway/ASX/asx-research/1.0/file/2924-02610511-3A609231?access_token=83ff96335c2d45a094df02a206a39ff4

    9) Onshore instead of offshore (less overheads/operation costs).

    10) The sherrit rig is at Varadero for maintenance (this means they are in contact and it is more likely now this rig will be used for the drilling) [which means with the same drilling team, and their experience, a better understanding of what is required in this Alameda-2 geology will allow them to possibly reduce the risk of well failure relative to a drill team and rig with no experience in the area.]

    11) https://hotcopper.com.au/data/attachments/4910/4910530-86ffe8afcc34c5d759e76e6b411eab67.jpg
According to the work program for WA-488-P, they are to drill by 21/08/2023. 251 days from now... but they may drill earlier to make sure they are within compliance of the work program. We can lookup a NOPSEMA environmental plan later when it is submitted.

    12) "the existence of a significant quantity of potentially moveable hydrocarbons. " source: 09/12/2022, ASX:MAY, Countdown to appraisal of oil found in Block 9 https://cdn-api.markitdigital.com/apiman-gateway/ASX/asx-research/1.0/file/2924-02610511-3A609231?access_token=83ff96335c2d45a094df02a206a39ff4 This means that if the reservoirs are connected, theoretically you could pull the oil out of less wells instead of having to drill into every well (if one reservoir flows into another).

    13) Andrew Purcell the chairman of ASX:MAY, is also the Non-executive Chairman of ASX:AJL. They are basically drilling experts... e.g: https://hotcopper.com.au/data/attachments/4910/4910578-d3ebaba89b5058f983222187a879ceb3.jpg
They have drilling services, which they provide to some of the "world's largest underground miners" source: 29 Sep 2022, ASX:AJL, AJ Lucas completes placement and investor presentation. https://cdn-api.markitdigital.com/apiman-gateway/ASX/asx-research/1.0/file/2924-02574331-2A1401760?access_token=83ff96335c2d45a094df02a206a39ff4 How is that relevant? Well.. Andrew Purcell knows his stuff, probably a lot more than most since he is also an engineer "Queensland University of TechnologyBachelor's DegreeElectrical and Electronics Engineering1983 - 1986" source: https://au.linkedin.com/school/university-of-queensland/?trk=public_profile_school_profile-section-card_full-click

    etc etc....

If anyone else has more to add, please do, and I will add it to my list.
