Since smoking has become a no no there is massive increase in prescription medicine. So at least smokers do not use a doctors visit to get their fix.
My mother goes to the doctors every week. No real reason but she finds one, I think she is lonely. Perhaps me and my siblings should give up work to be with her not to waste taxpayer money.
I get annoyed that corporations expect the taxpayer to fund the doctors note visit when the employee has a simple common cold. The corporation should pay imo.
