I've calmly and rationally replied to their posts before - only to be either ignored or hit up with nonsensical replies.
I will be ignoring them henceforth, although I already have my text ready for when finance drops.
BHP moving for OZ Minerals, Goldman Sachs backflipping in December 2022 & changing their 2023 forecast of a copper surplus of 169kt to a
178kt copper “deficit” (took them until very late in the year to figure out the true state of play in the copper market), Teck looking to tap cash from coal to fuel copper expansion, Glencore back & talking up copper, etc. A perfect storm in the copper market is brewing and our resident troll is standing there naked with an umbrella.
The Cu price is at US$3.81 & this is off the back of dire predictions of a global recession - along with China lockdowns (which have now eased). I think it has held up remarkably well in an extremely tough market. LT, demand and supply fundamentals will drive the Cu price. So happy to be safely positioned for the imminent bull market in copper sans an umbrella.
