Yes, certainly, IF they want to drive the LLL price up as soon as they report their initial significant holding. Would probably wind up costing them more as LLL would quickly go over double on the news and OEM was buying into the mine. Much better to get their 17% without competition and, having bought on market could quickly make it 20% before the price adjusts.
As for the wind up costs of FFX, I think 38M should cover it
