talking about oil;

last year I got a call from a futures trader. I had opened up a futures account to invest in oil. He wanted a decision to invest 30k into oil futures entry $36 a barrel.

Didn't do it, because I was not totally familiar with futures. Two and a half weeks later oil was at $72 a barrel. Only a couple of pips would have doubled my investment let alone $72 a barrel!!

I even knew that that would happen but still didn't buy in. I specialise in missing these opportunities. I must be a masochist to do all this...
