EBTEC are ADVISERS. They don't DO the job. Contractors and staff being paid with shareholder money DO the job. If the company has no funds, EBTEC don't do anything. Seriously, I don't understand why everyone harps on about them. I've posted this before, but a performance guarantee doesn't even mean anything at all. It doesn't mean the company will have money to keep funding the project, it doesn't mean lenders will have patience to wait, and even if the project is finalised, it doesn't mean it'll be finalised with YOU as a shareholder. If KLL ends up in administration and is sold, depending on their contract terms EBTEC may very well continue "working" away, or should I say "advising" away. The guarantee is meaningless fluff, mentioned in attempt to give uneducated shareholders a little lifeline to grasp at and snort hopium. They're advisers. They don't get stuff done. Shareholder money is what gets stuff done. The only performance guarantee in a fledgling company is how much (shareholder) money they have, and the patience of lenders. EBTEC is effectively a glorified customer-support hotline, and I'm sick of seeing their name in company reports.
