Haven't really followed them but if the premiums are finally shrinking, then I would say is it's about time! It made very little sense.
I haven't heard Geoff saying "he doesn't like buybacks" But I think one difference between The Future Gen products and WAM is the charity aspect. Easy to justify not doing a buyback it when it reduces the FUM that subsequently hurts the size of the donation. However for WAM products it could just be perceived as greed and protecting fees if they refuse to ever implement a buyback.
