If you believe in the fundamentals you hold no matter what anyone else says, including chartists that usually have no idea of the business itself and sharemarket articles.
I learn this lesson long ago with NEU. It was sitting at sub-$1 and everyone scared to sell including morningstar reviews of possible $3 in the future sometime. Well I believed the fundamentals and held without reaching that garbage and now free-carrying money I never thought possible.
